Born in Brampton, Ontario, Ricco was a respected and diligent worker for the game of lacrosse.
From 1948 through 1969, Ricco was active as a team manager and executive of both the Senior and Junior Brampton Excelsior Clubs. In 1966 he joined the Ontario Lacrosse Association as a vice-president, and was president from 1969 to 71. He was also active in the Canadian Lacrosse Association during 1968 and `69.
In 1975 Enrico became a governor of the Ontario Lacrosse Association and was honoured when made a life member.
