Walter "Scotty" Martin of the Six Nations Reserve played field lacrosse in the early'20's for the Mohawk Stars and the Royal Reds. He played pro in the International Lacrosse League for the Toronto Maple Leafs in '31 and Toronto Tecumsehs in '32. In 1931, he led league scoring with 37 goals and 11 assists. In '32, he also played for the Atlantic City Americans who won the world championship. In senior, Scotty played for the North Shore Indians and the Hamilton Tigers. Wherever Scotty played he was always the team's leading scorer often scoring 5 or more goals per game. |
