2003 Alf Brenner 171Alf Brenner - of Cultus Lake, B.C., was only 18 when he began his 15-season senior lacrosse career with the Indians and Vancouver in the now defunct Inter-City Lacrosse League.

In 410 games, Brenner earned a reputation as a stay-at-home defensive specialist, highly effective despite only being assesed 148 minor and seven major penalties. His occasional foray on the offensive attack netted him 136 goals and 141 assists for 277 points.

Brenner retired after winning his only Mann Cup ring in 1961
