Alex "Buck" Johnson - started his career in 1915 with the Toronto, Ontario, Maitlands. He toiled for them over a fourteen year period and was involved in many a battle with the famed New Westminster, British Columbia, Salmonbellies. A clever playmaker, he set a fine example for the younger players. He played with the great Lionel Conacher (Charter) during his heyday. He played his last year in 19'9 with Weston, Ontario. |
