1967 Jack Wood 126Jack Wood - a true westerner, Jack played the field and box game over a span of sixteen years before becoming a coach.

During his career he played in nine Mann Cup Championships, winning five times. A member of the Olympic Team in 19'8 he traveled to Amsterdam for the Games. In 19'5 he won the Maitland Trophy, emblematic of the western league's most valuable player.

After his playing days, he refereed two years before undertaking the commissioner's job in the field league, a post he held for six years.
