Bill DeMars was born in St. Catharines, Ontario, on October '0, 191'.

He was the secretary for the St. Catharines Sr. Athletics Club in 19'', trainer from 194'-47, and the Junior Club in 1948. Bill held an executive position with the Old Boys Lacrosse Association since 1967.

Bill has always been an avid promoter and supporter of lacrosse.
