Mike was a product of the famed Richmond Roadrunners Junior A team. Smith graduated from the Roadrunners with a Minto Cup and continued with the Vancouver Burrards where he would play 10 seasons. Smith's defensive prowess was evident in the 1977 Mann Cup where he was named the co-winner of the Mike Kelley Award as Mann Cup MVP. |
