1967 Bill Whittaker 117

was judged by some to be the greatest goalie of all time. A strong, overpowering type of individual, he intimidated many players who strayed into his crease. Extremely hard to beat in close, he led his team, the St. Catharines, Ontario, Athletics, to four Mann Cup championships between 1940 and 1946. Bill always came up with the big saves when his team was short handed.
