Discover Canada’s national summer sport at this revitalized exhibit that honours lacrosse’s players, traditions, and the game's historical roots.
Entrance is through the New Westminster City Museum located in the Anvil Centre in downtown New Westminster.
The site is easily accessible via Skytrain, Bus and car (ample underground parking).
The Hall is much more than a repository of names of our greatest participants— it is also a museum and archive and is the keeper of our national summer sport’s history. The Hall of Fame and Museum showcases the tradition of lacrosse from its very roots, with galleries honouring the First Nations who created the game, and exhibits showing the game’s transition into modern life.
Other exhibits feature the unique lacrosse stick, box and field games, lacrosse at the Olympic Games, and our historic national championship trophies.
Moving to New Westminster’s Anvil Centre has given the Hall of Fame the opportunity to completely revitalize these exhibits in a brand-new setting. The Board of Governors invites the community to visit the Hall of Fame in its new premises at the Anvil Centre, and walk down memory lane with the lacrosse greats.
The Hall of Fame is colocated with the City of New Westminster Museum in Anvil Cengtre and current operating hours may be found on the Anvil Centre Web site at https://anvilcentre.com
