The Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame is pleased to announce the appointment of David Soul as Executive Director.

Hall Entrance

David has held a variety of volunteer positions within the lacrosse community over the past three decades including 10 years with the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame as Director and many years before that with positions in youth box and field lacrosse, Senior A Lacrosse, the BC Lacrosse Association as well as serving on a task force of the Canadian Lacrosse Association.

“We are very happy to have David on board as the CLHOF’s new Executive Director,” said David Lancaster, CLHOF Chairman. “He has been a valuable member of our board for a decade and during that time has built great working relationships with many people in the lacrosse community across Canada.”

During his time with the CLHOF he has worked in many program areas including, most recently, in the development of our web and social media platforms. Over the last few years David was part of our Executive Committee and comes to his new role with a great understanding of the CLHOF operation and the vision of the board for future collaboration with CLHOF partners in making our collections more accessible to all Canadians.

About the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame

The Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame, chartered in 1964, Honours Players, Builders and Teams through an Annual Induction Process. Induction of new members is made to preserve the memory of stars of yesteryear, but the Hall is more than a repository of names and photos of our greatest players, builders and teams; it is also the keeper of our national summer sport's history.  The Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame honours the tradition of lacrosse from its very roots, with displays honouring the First Nations through exhibits showing the game's transition into modern life.
