1970 Jim MacLeod 203Jim McLeod although he never played lacrosse, Jim reached the pinnacle of achievement in the game he loved.

He started his career at the team level by entering a juvenile team in the Ontario Lacrosse Association and, after working his way up the various league levels, he organized and managed the Owen Sound Senior A Club, which won the 1950 Mann Cup. McLeod then became president of the Ontario Lacrosse Association and later the Canadian Lacrosse Association.

During his career, Jim developed many stars including Lloyd "Moon" Wooten (Charter Inductee - Box Player) who won the M.E.F. "Mike" Kelley (Charter Inductee - Builder) Medal three times as the MVP in the Mann Cup series.
