1988 Jack Dorney 394started and ended his fifteen year long lacrosse career in Long Branch, Ontario.

In between his bantam championship team of 1943, and his final senior year in 1958, he played with Weston West-Yorks, and the famed Hamilton Tigers. After a seven-year stint with the Tigers he became their playing coach before returning to Long Branch for his final season.

Dorney completed his lacrosse contribution serving four years as a referee at the senior Ontario Lacrosse Association level.
